Joining Eskil’s Associate Stream in 2018, Marino Milos is a highly experienced HR specialist and functional experience includes being a HR Consultant (IT Services); HR Director (Insurance); Chief Advisor, Asset-Liability Management (Banking); Director, HR Methodology and Evaluation (Banking); Head of Recruitment (Banking) Professional.

His extensive corporate HR experienced includes such achievements as:

  • Designed and established psychometrically based selection procedure 
  • Introduced and conducted annual organizational climate and employee engagement surveys; initiated numerous HR projects such as position certification, staff mobility program or internal monthly bulletin 
  • Re-designed performance management system using focus group methodology (SME), getting higher involvement of incumbents in defining KPI’s 
  • Introduced ‘Developmental Potential Index’ as a quantitative measure of employee’s disposition for accelerated professional development; defined and promoted criteria for managerial promotions or transfers 
  • Introduced internal corporate university (ICU) framework: selection methodology, pool(s) of potential candidates, types of managerial programs and evaluation criteria 
  • Dramatically increased quality of employed candidates in five years’ period; rose proportion of ‘Hi-Po’s’ in the Bank from 14% to 26%; lowered annual retention of ICU participants from 6% to 2,5% 
  • Participated as member or leader of assessment teams in evaluation and/or identification of critical talent within various workforce segments; 400+ experts and line managers, 200+ executives, 50+ international talents (Russia, Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia), 150+ retail bank branch managers 
  • Re-designed job grading system; introduced a new concept of remuneration and variable pay (quarterly bonus payment for retail and IT staff, retention bonus for key employees, ‘annual promotion packages’ for all employees) 
  • Initiated organizational restructuring process (radical ‘delayering’, job titles standardization, unifying employee and managerial contracts) 
  • Negotiated with union representatives, communicated layoffs to both management and employees, neutralized several litigations through dialogue and reaching agreement
